RV FEATURE
There’ s something profoundly healing about waking up to the stillness of a river at dawn. For me, that place of peace has always been along the banks of the Murray River. It’ s where time slows, memories return, and the soul exhales. Caravanning across Australia isn’ t just a lifestyle, it’ s medicine for the mind, body, and soul.
SETTING YOU FREE
Caravanning offers something many of us don’ t even realise we’ re missing: freedom. Not just the freedom to travel wherever the road leads, but the kind that unshackles the mind. With no schedules to keep and no walls closing in, life on the road creates a sense of expansion, internally and externally. It opens up space in your mind for clearer thinking, reflection and joy.
When I’ m camped along the Murray, especially in my favourite free-camping spots tucked among towering river gums, something inside me changes. I feel young again. The memories come flooding back: fishing with the kids when they were young, cooking over a fire, and gazing at the stars without a single care in the world. In those quiet moments, it’ s as if the years melt away, and I’ m reminded of who I truly am.
