One of David ' s early van ' s was the Kimberley Karavan.
COMMUNITY AND CONNECTION
There’ s a beautiful, unspoken bond among caravanners. You’ ll find it around the communal campfire, in shared stories over coffee, or a friendly wave on the road. It’ s connection without pressure, support without judgment, even when you have difficulties reversing your caravan and everyone around you wants to help. For anyone recovering from illness or facing life changes, this sense of belonging can be incredibly uplifting.
MAGIC OF THE MURRAY
Out of all the places I’ ve been, the Murray River holds my heart. The free camps scattered along its edge offer serenity beyond compare. My favourites are the quiet, tucked-away spots where the river feels like it ' s yours alone – places like Strathmerton, Forges Pump and the peaceful stretches near Echuca. Here, time stops and healing begins.
Caravanning isn’ t just about the places you go; it’ s about the version of yourself you uncover along the way. For me, it brought strength back to my body, peace back to my mind, and lightness back to my soul. And every time I park by that river and step outside, I’ m reminded the road really does lead home.
Are you thinking of starting your own wellness journey on wheels? There’ s no better time. Find your freedom, connect with nature and rediscover your spark, one campsite at a time.
