INTRODUCING INDUS

Thetford’ s iNDUS Wastewater System is a smart sanitation system for motorhomes that’ s set to change the way we approach hygiene when we’ re on the road.

The system includes a macerator toilet, a dosing module that automatically adds the correct amount of additives to the holding tank, taking into account things like ambient temperature, a black and grey water tank, a discharge module, and even an app. One of the beauties of this system is that, since it involves a black water tank mounted separately to the toilet, the toilet no longer needs to be positioned on an outside wall.

The included grey water tank is used for flushing the macerator toilet, so you’ re not dipping into your freshwater supply.

The iNDUS system allows travellers to be off-grid for up to seven days before needing to be emptied, and they don’ t need to think about additives for at least 21 days. Further, to increase your stay, a 19L portable holding tank is provided that can be stored and emptied appropriately when convenient.

This system is a far cry from the traditional cassette setup that you’ d be used to!
