NOSTALGIA AND PRIDE!

Reflecting on the journey of GoRV from its very first issue, I can’ t help but feel a mix of nostalgia and pride. The launch was a nerveracking experience for our team; it marked our first bold step into producing industry media independently. There were so many uncertainties swirling in my mind, especially regarding how the magazine would be received and whether the wider industry would embrace it, particularly from an advertising standpoint.
Our debut issue spanned about 50 pages and included an exciting giveaway – a Skamper Kamper for one lucky reader – which added an extra layer of anticipation to our launch. I still remember that quiet moment in the office back in early 2017 when the e-magazine was finally published. Tears welled up as I felt an overwhelming sense of achievement mixed with excitement for what lay ahead.
Fast forward to today, and it’ s incredible to see how GoRV has evolved into one of the most respected and influential voices in the caravan and camping industry. With over 80,000 subscribers and more than 900,000 readers who have collectively explored over 45 million pages across 100 issues, the reach of our e-magazine is something I could hardly have imagined back then.
I want to extend a heartfelt‘ thank you’ to the entire GoRV team for their unwavering commitment and hard work throughout this journey. A special acknowledgment goes to the caravan and camping industry for their generous advertising support, which allows us to deliver this free e-magazine to our readers every month.
And lastly, a massive‘ thank you’ to you, our readers. Your enthusiasm and engagement are the driving forces behind everything we do. Here’ s to the next 100 issues – may they be filled with more adventures, stories, and a continued celebration of our beloved outdoor lifestyle!
