FREEDOM CAMP OF THE MONTH
FAVE CAMPS!

After hundreds of kilometres of bush, you will eventually arrive at a site that can only be described as lovely.
With serene water views and abundant birdlife, photos can’ t capture its charm. It is a large area, with a sealed road in, followed by an unsealed road to a grassed area to park up. There is not much there – just lots of bins and a picnic table, but the setting is priceless.
One of the reviews in the Camps app described it this way:“ Really lovely spot. Overlooking the lagoon with amazing birdlife. Despite being not far off the road, there was little noise after dark. Sites are first in, best dressed, and are grassy and mostly level. Easy access – plenty of rubbish bins and a toilet block if you are prepared to walk to the truck stop part near the road. Sunset was amazing. Maximum 24-hour stay.”
Thanks Stacy & Rocky!
Another traveller warned to be mindful of the bugs at night. No mozzies, but loads of bugs were attracted to their light. So close all windows!
