SUPERCAR VETERAN SIGNS OFF
The Snowy River Caravans factory came to a standstill in early December when Blanchard Racing Team and V8 Supercar veteran James Courtney paid a visit following the conclusion of his full-time racing career at the Adelaide 500.
More than 200 team members, from the production floor through to the executive team, lined up to meet the Snowy River Caravans brand ambassador.
James Courtney’ s # 7 Snowy River racer also made an appearance, fresh off the track from its final outing in Adelaide. Featuring the custom retirement livery revealed during the last round, the car provided an emotional focal point for the farewell event.
The visit was a moment of reflection, recognising not only James Courtney’ s decorated racing career, but also the years of partnership between the V8 Supercar star and Snowy River Caravans.
Courtney, speaking to the gathered crowd, was visibly emotional:“ This kind of send-off genuinely means the world to me. I’ ve worked with some fantastic brands over my career, but Snowy River has felt like home from the moment I walked through the door. I’ m genuinely grateful to have been part of the brand’ s journey over the past four years.”
