Rose Bay Park in Gravelly Beach, Tas, offers a fantastic overnight donation camp in the Tamar Valley. Bonus: it is pet friendly!
“ This is a carpark type of camp but we scored the first parking spot so we had calming water views,” Camps ambassadors Dan and Amanda said.
“ Right next to the camp is the recreation area: a playground, a skate park, a basketball court, toilets, barbecues, a water tap and tables. We set-up our chairs and had a drink while our daughter played until her heart was content!
“ It’ s also awesome for fishers, with beach pontoons and a boat ramp with fishing rod holders next door to the camp.”

Note: there may be road noise in the morning, as it is only 26km north-east of Launceston, and it is strictly a 12-hour stopover only.
