FREEDOM CAMP OF THE MONTH
By the way, the Bland Shire has a sense of humour. It’ s officially teamed up with Dull in Scotland and Boring in Oregon to form the‘ League of Extraordinary Communities’.
Gold brought a rush to the region and the shire was named after Dr William Bland, a surgeon, politician, farmer and inventor. Long before, the area was home to the Wiradjuri people.
Today, the region is known for gold production, cereal crops and eucalyptus oil.
