JAYCO MODEL LAUNCH!

Australia’ s largest RV manufacturer, Jayco, is embracing the nascent trend towards 48V power in this country.
As part of a media tour of the sprawling 50-acre Jayco headquarters, the company raised the curtain on its 2026 range, with 48V power taking centre stage amongst the changes to a couple of its higher-end models.
As more and more caravans go‘ gas-less’, Jayco is offering 48V system either as standard equipment or as an option on its pricier vans, while a minimum of 300Ah of 12V lithium power is being offered in its hardtop caravan range, except for the Starcraft, which for 2026 is being fitted with 200Ah of 12V power.
Jayco’ s seriousness about building genuine off-grid caravans can be seen in the new life given to the Adventurer, which is now designed around a high-capacity Projecta 5kW 48V power system with induction cooking.
