THE FRONT BOOT
The inaugural Cranbourne Caravanning & Adventure Leisurefest proved to be a resounding success, with large crowd numbers cementing Melbourne ' s south-east as one of Victoria’ s RV hotspots.
Throughout the three-day show, 9795 attendees scanned into Cranbourne Leisurefest, where they were welcomed by a large range of new vans, plenty of variety and family entertainment.
Alongside strong attendance numbers, the feedback from the public as well as exhibitors was positive.
Cranbourne Leisurefest is now the second-largest event to be held at Cranbourne Racecourse, showing an immediate demand for the RV lifestyle in the area.

Naturally, Cranbourne Leisurefest was a dog-friendly event.
" From a strategic perspective, the event strongly validates the direction identified in our industry show review, which is the importance of taking caravan and camping to the people,” Caravan Industry Victoria CEO Daniel Sahlberg said.
" Consumer behaviour continues to shift. Many attendees told us they valued local, accessible events and are increasingly less inclined to travel into the city due to cost, congestion and convenience. Delivering events into growth corridors like Melbourne’ s southeast is not only meeting this demand, it is unlocking new audiences for the industry.
" We also acknowledge the realities of the current market. While sales conversion remains challenging, the level of engagement seen across the event demonstrates that demand for the lifestyle remains strong, with consumers still dreaming, planning and actively considering their next purchase."
