HOME AND HOSED
One of the things we were told very early on in our caravanning life was that there was no way we should ever use a garden hose for the water supply into our van. That was an interesting thing, so I asked why.
The short version of the answer is that the material the hose is made from isn’ t right for drinking water. We didn’ t find out the hard way by drinking some water from a garden hose, but we did hear from other caravanners that they had!
One of the best ways to get good water in is to use a Flat Out Hose, which you can keep tidy using the Flat Out Multi-Reel. To put it plainly, the water hose is made to meet the highest Australian Standard AS4020 when it comes to water hoses. It’ s made from a specific material, which means you get safe water. We all know that some places have very strange tasting water, but at least you know a Flat Out Hose isn’ t adding to the taste!

Flat Out has more than just a water hose. There’ s the waste water hose to take waste to the sullage point. It’ s a very different material and perfect for its job. What makes them so good is that you roll it up in its holder( the Flat Out Multi-Reel), making it easy to store and a lot safer and cleaner.
The Flat Out Multi-Reel also works for keeping power cords tidy and untwisted, and the company also sells special electrical leads as well.
I could spend hours writing about the value of the products, but the information on each one is on the Flat Out website, which is well worth reading
