FREEDOM CAMP OF THE MONTH
It was a scorcher outside – 35 degrees – but the pub was beautifully air-conditioned, which was so welcome. The beer garden is lovely too, and the atmosphere is just gold. We met fellow campers( two other vans pulled in), sharing a generous dinner together and plenty of laughs.
A few things that make this spot a winner: free-camping right beside the pub; it’ s pet friendly; there are cracking meals and live entertainment; and there’ s a rest area within walking distance too.
We absolutely loved our stop here. If you ' re rolling through on the Hume, do yourself a favour – pull in, grab a cold one, and see what happens. The best nights really are the unplanned ones. Check ahead if they are serving meals that night.
