GORV - Digital Magazine Issue #12 | Page 2

HITCHING UP WITH MAX TAYLOR YEAR ONE Anniversaries. I’ve forgotten one or two in the past and my wife rightfully still reminds me. But I wouldn’t have missed this for the world. Yes, with this issue, GoRV has officially turned one. GoRV began as part of a shared vision to create a company that would inform readers about the newest RVs and related products, that would entertain and provoke debate. We wanted to create a company that would celebrate the RV lifestyle and manufacturing industry, and hold that same industry accountable when it failed to live up to its promises. The response has been unbelievable, certainly greater than any of us expected. As GoRV’s managing editor, I’d like to personally thank you, the reader, for your support. I’d also like to thank co-director and national sales manager Grant Manson, advertising manager ENJOY. AND SAFE TRAVELS. Without these hard-working and passionate people, not to mention our regular contributors such as Lionel Mussell, Tim Smith, Linda Lee Rathbun and Iestyn Rawlings, GoRV wouldn’t be half of what it has become in a relatively short period of time. Okay, enough of the Oscars speech. In this issue, we’ve taken a long, hard look at weight distribution hitches, how they work and their potential drawbacks. We also were among the first to fit a new sway control unit. It’s a DIY job – we gave it a crack and it couldn’t be easier. gorv.com.au info@gorv.com.au
