YOUR RVs INSIDE You immediately notice the 190L fridge/freezer and that sits next to the three-burner gas stove and oven. To supplement this they have an induction hotplate! When Cheryl demonstrated the lighting system, everything lit up like a Christmas tree. Fortunately, they can all be switched off at once by a switch near the bed. With all this high-tech stuff, you would expect a few monitors. There are monitors for gas and carbon monoxide, plus a smoke alarm. I mentioned that my smoke alarm goes off when cooking toast or on very dusty roads and she shared a secret – they put a shower cap over the monitor to stop that happening and, blow me down, they even bought some for me when they went shopping! Thanks, Cheryl. STORAGE A-PLENTY There are very few lockers high up, and this adds to the spacious feeling – added to, of course, by the two slide-outs. Surprisingly, though, even with the slides in there's plenty of room to move about when you stop for a cuppa. There are lots of spacious cupboards, though, and under the bed and seats there's more storage room plus there are quite a few lockers outside. The air-conditioner is very quiet. The washing machine down the back will heat water but Cheryl says heating is slow, so it’s easier to use cold water. WHAT'S ON THE TELLY? With a satellite disk on the roof, Foxtel and other terrestrial stations caught by a Wineguard antenna, there's always something to watch. I was fascinated when a television set popped up from under a cupboard. No wonder they need lots of electricity! I'm sure the Sherlocks will enjoy many years of comfortable travelling in their lovely motorhome, and I look forward to catching up with them again somewhere soon. 46 \
