NEW HOME FOR
THETFORD
RV industry supplier Thetford has officially
opened its new distribution centre in
Somerton, Vic, in the heart of Australia’s
caravan industry.
Accompanied by numerous industry
stakeholders, Caravan Industry Victoria CEO
Rob Lucas cut the ribbon on the facility in
mid October.
The new head office boasts a showroom to
showcase Thetford’s products, along with a
purpose-built training centre. The distribution
centre is significantly larger than Thetford’s
previous facility, allowing for increased
stockholdings and greater efficiency in terms
of product delivery to customers.

“It is fair to say that the market is challenging
and it is tough out there,” Thetford Australia
general manager Daniel Dunn said. “However,
Thetford has made a conscious decision to
continue to invest in the caravan industry and
open this new facility, which is double the size
of our previous premises.”
