G & S CHASSIS
RECALLED
Chassis manufacturer G & S Chassis has voluntarily initiated a recall of some chassis fitted with Control Rider TS Suspension. The chassis being recalled were built between May 2015 and June 2016. The move to recall these chassis occurred when G & S Chassis noticed that“ a small number of early chassis( less than 0.5 per cent of chassis produced) exhibited a trailing arm weld failure”, according to the Caravan Trade Industry Association of Victoria( CTIAV).“ The association has been advised of no instances of accident or injury relating to this product,” CTIAV CEO Rob Lucas said. The CTIAV has praised G & S Chassis for conducting the recall.“ We commend G & S Chassis for their obvious concern for their customers by initiating this voluntary recall,” Mr Lucas said.“ G & S Chassis is a familyoperated business which has been in operation for over 40 years and during that time they have contributed greatly to the recreational vehicle industry and the general community. It is their uncompromising commitment to the quality of their product and customer safety which

CLEAR SIGNAL
How many times have you switched on the telly at your favourite campsite only to receive that dreaded‘ no signal’ notification on the screen? The TV Easy Tune Combined Booster and Signal Finder from Happy Wanderer, SA, could be the answer. Not only does it help vanners find a TV signal in the bush but, if needed, it will increase signal strength for the best TV picture possible. According to Happy Wanderer, while wind-up roof antennas already have a booster built in,
32 gorv. com. au they often need additional boost due to the distance from the transmitter, weather conditions and even interference from trees. This product can be retrofitted near the TV set and is easy to use, with LED lights indicating when the right strength is found. The product is particularly useful for vans fitted with roof-mounted antennas that are wound up from inside, making it difficult to know if the antenna is pointed in the right direction. The Easy Tune solves this problem while, at the same
time, allowing the user to boost the signal by turning a control knob.
