There are certain buttons on the device itself ( the SOS button and the ‘ tick ’ for Check-In ) while the ZOLEO app , which we found super easy to navigate and looks similar to your normal smartphone text messaging app , provides more settings and control .
Oh , hubby ’ s also pretty smitten with the fact he can check the weather through the app , even in the most remote places . He reckons it will make him a better fisherman .
THOUGHTS FROM A TRAVELLING FAMILY
As a family living full-time in our caravan , we thought the ZOLEO Global Satellite Communicator was practical , convenient , and it will certainly add a higher level of connectivity , security and peace of mind to our lifestyle .

I ’ ll be making sure it goes along on fishing trips – as the boys are renowned for staying out on our tinny for hours longer than they said they would . We ’ ll also use it for those impromptu hikes in the middle of nowhere .
It will even help us to make up for those times over the last two years where family and friends expressed their ‘ worry ’ at not hearing from us for weeks . We will be able to alleviate their concern with a simple press of a button from now on !
