NOT ONLY IS THIS RV STOP BEAUTIFUL , IT IS ON THE DOORSTEP OF FASCINATING HISTORY AND INCREDIBLE BEACHES .

If you love a taste of history then stop at the lovely country town of Moonta on the Yorke Peninsula , SA , with heritage buildings , shops and pleasant parks .
In fact , the township has national heritage status – find out why at the museum and the Moonta Mines Walking Trails . It is a short drive to the coast with nice beaches , views and facilities .
Only two hours from Adelaide , you can expect a large , grassed , shady area , right at the edge of town . For a small donation , you can stop at this pet-friendly , 48-hour stopover .
This site is for self-contained motorhomes and caravans only . A dump point , water , mobile phone coverage and firepits are available . Showers and toilets are available a few blocks away .
It ' s a great place ; however , it can get crowded and there is an overflow area across the road ( please abide by the signs ). Do remember to give your donation for upkeep of this excellent facility !
Finally , it has the CAMPS tick of approval !
The Moonta RV Overnight Stop offers plenty of large , shady sites
