Well , we made it . That ’ s another difficult year under our belts and for that , we all deserve to go caravanning these holidays ! Where are you off to ? I ’ m pondering simply packing my swag and heading away for a few days , spending some time on a great surf beach somewhere , and drinking a wine or two under the stars at night .
2021 has been a year of considerable ups and downs . Depending on where you lived , those downs were a little more down than they were for others . Just ask any Victorian or anyone from New South Wales .
The Victorian Supershow was held on a smaller scale much earlier this year . People had a considerable spring in their step . The covid outlook was positive and it felt like things were getting back to normal . And then , wham ! Victoria hasn ’ t held an RV show since and it ’ s been a similar situation in other states .
But as vaccination rates have soared , we are looking forward to a ‘ normal ’ ( semi-normal ?) 2022 here at GoRV , expecting to attend lots of RV shows , to hit the road , and hear plenty of your own tales from the road .
