AWKWARD TAP ACCESS SOLVED !
A previous van we owned had the front water tap on the A-frame , but it was too far under the front of the van for easy access . Our current van has a toolbox over the top of the tap .
I therefore bought a brass tap and fitting to suit , and bolted the tap to an aluminium stake . I use a 2m piece of hose , which connects to the A-frame tap , with the other end hooked up to the new brass tap .
Now I have a super-handy tap , which I can push into the ground wherever I like or am allowed . We find it good on double concrete slabs as the tap can be positioned so the water runoff is onto the grass or dirt , not back under the van or awning .
