Peter Funke ’ s van came as standard with an offside-rear locker for general storage . However , Peter set about making the space more usable , adding two slide-out shelves / trays . The bottom tray is fitted to lockable runners , perfect for his generator . The top tray , meanwhile , is on standard drawer runners . Each tray is finished with marine carpet .

DIY INSECT LIGHTS
You may have heard that amber lights are good for keeping insects away . In fact , more and more caravans are being supplied from the factory with such lights . However , if your caravan has just a standard white light under the awning , all is not lost . Richard Oldfield of Victoria swears that applying a strip of this Auto Lens Repair Tape over the standard white awning light will do the job just as well . So if insects are bugging you at night , give it a go !
