FABULOUS FEATURES
The caravan ’ s shower was fabulous , as was the toilet ( mind you , it was not me who emptied it ). The cooktop ( which we only used to boil the kettle in the morning ) was great , not to mention the large fridge , the amazing amount of storage and the electric awning with lights in it . The generator that we had turned out to be a must !
What went wrong ? I ’ m pleased to say nothing . Well , the battery ran out quickly but we had a generator to recharge it .
When I woke up one night , early , I couldn ’ t help but think a van with a bathroom in the middle might have been good as I could have gotten up and read a book without disturbing my husband .
What would we do differently next time ? Well , we have , surprisingly , rented the van for next year . We will invest in camp chairs that are more comfortable , and thankfully we took a large mat that helped the caravan stay clean . Next year , I might also pack a dustbuster , as that would also be handy .
