Over the years I have owned five different caravans . One of my hobbies is performing modifications and additions to our van to make it very specific to our needs and to add to our caravanning experience .
I am often approached by fellow caravaners asking about some of my modifications . Recently someone asked me which was my favourite and why .
The answer was very easy : it is the SOG toilet ventilation system . One of the pleasures of travel in a caravan is having your own shower and toilet , both for privacy and convenience at night . However , having a caravan toilet has one major drawback : odour , both the chemical smell and the smell that comes from ‘ doing the business ’.
