In early October , Melbourne Leisurefest was once again held at Sandown Racecourse . It was a major RV event for both buyers and sellers , full of new caravans , campers and accessories . I always find these events to be very educational on all aspects of RV life , a place where you can meet experts and discuss technical issues or even negotiate a great price on a new RV . It takes a full day to visit every stand but it ’ s a day of learning and entertainment for us caravaners . Here is a small sample of my day at Leasurefest 2022 …

FIRST STOP : IDEAL TOW VEHICLE AND CARAVAN

My first stop was the GoRV stand where I met with Max Taylor ( GoRV editor ) where we discussed some interesting topics , including his ultimate tow vehicle and caravan .

SECOND STOP : STOCKMAN WHIP

Drovers Outback Camping sells a range of products but the one that caught my attention was the Stockman whip . I own one of these and can tell you they are an
