KOKODA GROUP RAISES CHARITY CASH
The Kokoda Caravan Owners recently held its 2022 National Gathering at Dunsborough , WA . This was the fifth such gathering , and as with the fourth event , the local volunteer fire brigade was the recipient of money raised .
Fifty Kokoda vans gathered at Dunsborough Southern Stars Holiday Park for a week of fundraising , food and fun .
The event was organised by Glenn and Vicki Bryant of Happy Campers Australia . Prizes were donated by MickeyBlu , Redarc and Trail-A-Mate . Along with support from Kokoda Caravans and some local businesses , $ 5057 was raised for the Dunsborough volunteer fire brigade . This money will allow the brigade to purchase more hand-held UHFs .
To date , the five national Kokoda caravan owners ’ events have raised $ 35,000 for Australian charities . ROLL UP FOR QUEENSLAND SHOW !
The Let ’ s Go Brisbane Caravan and Outdoor Expo is set to be held once again at the Brisbane Showgrounds .
Caravanning Queensland ’ s popular Weight and Towing Masterclasses will once again be a major attraction – recommended for anyone hitting the road this summer .
