SavvyLevel Plus + S4 is a fourth generation app-based RV levelling product that has some major improvements over previous generations and competitive products . Some of the key features include :
• A new ‘ Generation Chip ’ set that is more accurate and much more responsive to movement ;
• Improved Bluetooth – it is 7.5db stronger , meaning improved connectivity with your phone and , in my case , I could locate the Savvy Level device anywhere in my caravan and get excellent signal to my phone in the car ; and
• An updated version of the app . The new SavvyLevel CV4 app made for a much more reliable and smooth real-time experience . ( The available SavvyLevel MH4 app is available for motorhome users )
TESTING
My real-life test of the SavvyLevel Plus + S4 was a very positive experience , thanks to the updates to the electronics and the phone app .
Levelling the van with SavvyLevel Plus + S4 by driving onto ramps or blocks works as one would expect – it is something I have done many times . However , previous versions of similar products were somewhat slow and I always tended to overdrive the ramp or go too high . That is not the case with the SavvyLevel Plus + S4 – it is so fast and precise that your position is reflected in real time on your phone in the car , so you are able to be much more precise in your level positioning .
