Cruisemaster ATX suspension is now available in a single-axle variant rated to 3000kg ATM .

The increased capacity is thanks to a “ tweak ” to the design of the ATX arm . “ These reinforced arms specifically designed for threetonne application can be identified by the welded end cap in place of the orange stag head end cap fitted to the inside of the arm ,” Cruisemaster said .

The 3000kg-rated ATX is compatible with standard-fitment M46 shock absorbers , or with adjustable M60 shocks as an upgrade option . It is available with either ABS-compatible Cruisemaster 12in electric drum brakes or the company ’ s premium ventilated hydraulic disc brakes .

Three-tonne ATX is available in Air format with premium Firestone rolling sleeve airbags , or in Coil format with X5K springs by King Springs .

According to Cruisemaster , because this new suspension system utilises the same mounting system and supporting components as the standard ATX , upgrading existing single-axle ATX systems to this three-tonne ATM system is relatively cost-effective , with no fabrication work required .
