Webasto has released two new variable-speed Cool Top Trail RV air-conditioners : the 2800W 28V and the 3600W 36V .
According to Webasto , the variable speed compressor technology offers certain benefits over traditional AC . One such benefit is that they adjust their cooling output to the actual need , so they draw less power compared to fixed-speed units , which is of particular benefit to RV applications where energyefficient is paramount .
Variable-speed compressors also operate more smoothly , reducing noise and allowing for precise temperature management and dehumidification .
The Cool Top Trail ’ s Eco modes further reduces electrical power consumption and the Turbo mode allows for rapid cool-down or heat-up via four directional vents .
All Webasto ’ s Cool Top Trail roofmounted air-conditioning units are designed to operate in temperatures as low as -5 ° C and up to 50 ° C .
