Pathfinder , on the other hand , is taking warranty responsibility for five years on all items on board the caravans it builds . This is absolutely a step in the right direction .

Pathfinder ’ s first model is the Urban Trek . It ’ s a 17ft single-axle semi-offroad van with aluminium framing , honeycomb flooring and a one-piece composite fibreglass roof . However , there ’ s a full range of sizes and layouts on the near horizon , starting around 14ft .

Pathfinder is helmed by Peter Kuzmanoski , one of the former owners of Atlantic Caravans . From his perspective , the five-year warranty is designed to instil confidence in his customers , though he has no doubt about the quality of his vans .
