Ironman has released a new range of vehicle recovery kits to cover four-wheel-drivers of all needs and abilities .

The Starter Recovery Kit ($ 400 ) is the basic setup , containing all the essentials to get you through the most common recovery situations , from a 9m , 8000kg-rated snatch strap to a 3m tree-saver and a 20m winch extension rope .

The Sand , Mud & Snow Recovery Kit ($ 439 ) contains all you ’ ll need for a vehicle-to-vehicle recovery when a winch is not available . This kit does not require a winch . It includes a 9m kinetic snatch strap rated to 9500kg , a couple of soft shackles rates to 18,000kg , a steel towbar recovery hitch rated to 14,000kg , a recovery winch blanket and storage bag .

Finally , there ’ s the Pro Recovery Kit ($ 999 ) which provides all the gear that experienced four-wheeldrivers would need to perform difficult or more advanced recoveries . A bridle equaliser rope , kinetic snatch rope , soft shackles , kevlar gloves , an aluminium recovery ring and more are all part of the kit .
