MYTH 2: AEDs are too expensive
Think again. While AEDs are an investment, they’ re priced similarly to other critical safety tools, such as satellite phones. And when you consider the potential to save a life, their value is unmatched. Most models are also built to last, making them a smart long-term addition to your gear.
MYTH 3: AEDs are bulky
Not anymore. Modern AEDs are compact and lightweight, about the size of a lunchbox. Coming in rugged carry cases, they’ re designed for the rigours of travel and should fit easily in your van or tow vehicle.
