The design allows for effective ventilation of the power station and through the backpack itself. You also get two USB-C 100W outlets, two 15W USB-A outlets, a single DC input for solar or auto charging, a single 10A 240V power outlet, an AC power inlet, integrated carry handle, multifunction LED display and Bluetooth connection to Bluetti’ s excellent smart device app.
This allows you to set-up the charging speed, switch to Power Lifting mode, set power level and time-out shutdowns, update the firmware and remotely control all of the power station functions. It’ s a brilliant system that we have raved about in previous reviews.
The power stations are accessed by lifting the vented flap on either side of the bag.
The other side of the power station houses the AC input and output plugs.
IS THE BAG ANY GOOD?
As someone who used to do a fair bit of hiking and overnight bush walks, I understand the struggle of finding a decent backpack that suits your particular needs. With that in mind, I reckon Bluetti has come up with a decent design that combines a camara bag and hiking backpack into one system.
This is always going to be a bit of a compromise, but regardless, there is plenty of storage space available in both size backpacks, even with the power station packed into its section. Obviously, the larger bag can carry a lot more than the smaller one. Still, I managed to arrange the camera section to easily fit an SLR camera, some lenses, a drone and all the ancillary bits and pieces associated with them into the 42L bag, along with enough gear and supplies for a day’ s hike. If you’ re careful, you could also include a small laptop computer and a Starlink Mini as well.
