“ Our 11-year-old, Charlee, fell in love with the ' vibe ' and fully immersed herself in the market and food stalls, attending many activities at the ' Kidz Club ' and exploring her independence by venturing into the crowds to enjoy many musical acts, both familiar and new. Avery relished being chauffeured around in the deckedout beach cart, Her Ladyship claiming it as her own and making friends. Both kids have broadened their musical tastes and are now listening to various artists from the festival. This festival is always brimming with kindness, friendliness and compassion, and 2025 did not disappoint.”
As Andrea said, this trip was“ just the injection of hope and happiness our family needed”.
“ We couldn ' t be more grateful to Blake ' s parents for their generosity, which enabled us to once again live the caravanning life. While our story does have a‘ happy ending’ of sorts, we are still having to make sacrifices and still require a more powerful tow vehicle to take us on our trip around Australia next year, with nothing left in our bank account.
“ Clawing back from an $ 83,000 loss has not been without its challenges and it is far from over for us. But our experience has taught us so much and we can now see the light at the end of our tunnel, preferring to look forward rather than back and choosing not to let the cruel actions of others define who we are as people and as a family, or limit the experiences we get to have together.”
