CHASSIS
The Pioneer Verve features a custom hot-dipped-galvanised chassis and uniquely tuned Trakmaster Trak-Two independent trailing arm coil suspension with twin shocks . Lloyd makes a strong point about the durability of hotdipped galvanised chassis ; he says it is the “ gold standard of corrosion protection ” and features a “ 393 % increase in protection , when compared to DuraGal ” and similar alternatives .
The suspension also takes into account the overall dimensions of the body , including height , and is tuned to reduce instances of sway during long corners or moments of wind buffeting .
