MAJESTIC NAVIGATOR 196
Majestic Caravans has given the Navigator 196 more than a mild makeover for 2026. We reviewed this model in mid 2025. It was a good but otherwise conventional caravan. However, the Navigator 196 is now a fresh, modernlooking van complete with laseretched aluminium over the corner moulds, which is the trend at the moment, Rhino coating on the sides rather than checkerplate, airbag suspension, and even acoustic panelling inside.
This 19ft 6in caravan also comes as standard with a generous 12V system with inverter, a substantial rear bar, and the recessed picnic table module is a new addition too. The interior is pure Majestic – the joinery is first rate and the layout is highly liveable.
As Majestic Caravan’ s Liz Naumoska said, it was time to give the Navigator the makeover it had long deserved. I agree. While the previous iteration of this van lived up to its promise, it’ s a case of making a good thing even better.

ONBOARD CARAVAN ODOMETER
As I ambled past the Millard stand, my old industry mate, Terry Ward, called me over. You see, Millard had just fitted a kind of sophisticated odometer to its X- Rider, as seen in this 18ft 6in centre-door van.
But to simply call this piece of equipment an‘ odometer’ wouldn’ t do it justice. It contains various other trip meters too, and will log your mileage and average speeds, etc., giving service technicians more data with which to work.
