Ruth McMahon, one of the key driving forces behind this event, addressed the crowd of Hilltopians.
The weekend was filled with laughs, friendship and family – you see, if I’ ve learned anything about attending the Hilltop gatherings for the last four years, it’ s that when you buy a Hilltop, you are joining a family.
This theme was driven home during the formalities of the event. During the speeches, Dam and Dula spoke of their appreciation for each of them.
“ We see a considerable number of new faces here today, and we would like to welcome you to the Hilltop family,” Dam told the crowd that was spread out on the lawn and under a marquee on the bank of Lake Nagambie.“ We are very grateful for all of you.”
This was the eighth Hilltop Owners’ Group National Gathering, and Ruth and Brendan have been at the forefront of its success each year. On a personal note, though I’ m not a‘ Hilltopian’, both Ruth and Brendan, not to mention every Hilltopian I have met during these gatherings, have always made me feel welcome – almost like an honorary Hilltopian.
