RV FEATURE
At this year’ s gathering, however, the team decided to kick things up a notch. GoRV joined forces with a few musical Hilltopians to put on an impromptu band performance after the speeches. Our national sales manager, Grant Manson, and I teamed up with Hilltopians David Dunn on guitar, and Ruth and Brendan’ s grandson, Will, on drums to form the‘ Hilltop Hogs’. If you caught our coverage of last year’ s gathering, you might remember that Hilltopian Peter Funke is a didgeridoo player( and maker) but unfortunately couldn’ t attend this year, though we all agreed during our one and only brief rehearsal that Peter’ s didge lent the Hogs an entirely different sound. Next year, Pete!( We won’ t mention that Brendan changed the band name to‘ Funke-less’ at the end of our first set!)
When Hilltop Caravans began operations in 2015, it was a very small business. In fact, Dam built 90 per cent of the first ever Hilltop himself( noting during his speech that it has never returned to the factory for repairs or warranty work).
From those humble beginnings, something rather special has grown: a community of travellers united by their love of the RV lifestyle and the brand that has shared their journeys, every step of the way: Hilltop.

The gathering was held on the banks of the beautiful Lake Nagambie.
