ALISON’ S FIRST FAREWELL TOUR
We took a drive-through site. I took the opportunity to give our sheets and towels a wash. Well, blow me down! I did a load of washing in the van, hung the sheets up on the line and went back and did another load. Each load takes 30 minutes. I took the next load over to hang up and the first lot was dry already. It was incredibly windy and so hard to actually get things pegged up, but so worth it because you could almost hear them drying!
ARRIVING AT THE SHOW
The Victorian Caravan and Camping Supershow is a great place to see all sorts of amazing new vans. There was one van that stood out for me this time. It was the first time I had seen it – the manufacturer only brings it to shows. It’ s not available for sale. Why? Well, how many vans do you want that have an 80L beer keg in the fridge and you can refill your glass while sitting in the relaxing chairs while watching TV?

Seriously, this Snowy River is a stand-alone exhibit with a great touch of humour. And, according to Peter, great beer too.
When we are visiting a show, we are only there on weekdays – it’ s really busy on weekends so we take a break and see what’ s on in the city. On the Saturday, we made our way into Melbourne and saw the‘ Cluedo’ show. If you remember the game, you will know that it’ s all about murder, who, what, where and when.
