One of the staff members was just finishing some work in the area and saw us waiting. She was lovely and decided we didn’ t need to wait so she opened the office and checked us in. When we got back into the car, I asked Peter if he wanted me to get out and punch in the code to lift the boom gate. He smiled and drove right up to the boom gate, which slowly opened. There was a camera that read the numberplate that had been added to our booking data, so it would automatically open for us going in and out. It’ s a lovely park, one we had been to before.
While we were catching up with the Gows, I needed some more cotton for my crochet hobby and we went to the biggest Spotlight I have ever seen. If we’ d had time and gone around the whole store, heavens only knows what I would have bought!
It was then time for a few days of fun and laughter with Marg and Bruce before we moved on to a very important event, which I’ ll have for next time …
