RV FEATURE
THE HEART OF THE SYSTEM
The Elite 3000 is a compact, integrated power station that fits neatly onto our existing toolbox generator slide and delivers:
• 2400W continuous output;
• 4800W surge power for microwaves, kettles, airconditioning, etc.
• Whisper-quiet, almost silent, operation;
• Smaller form factor than a generator for a similar weight( 25kg); and
• Zero fuel, zero fumes and zero complaints from neighbours.
The Bluetti Elite 300 plugs straight into our Jayco Silverline’ s 240V inlet via the Powersafe Inline RCD DUO adaptor and energises every caravan powerpoint, just like a generator, but without the noise or the hassle.
EVERYDAY USE
The Elite 300 has a simple control panel. It can also be controlled via Bluetooth connectivity and a userfriendly mobile phone app. From the luxury of my caravan’ s bed, I can open the Bluetti app, tap a button, and the coffee machine springs to life. Toast, hairdryer, induction cooktop – it all works.
In real world use, the Elite 300 is roughly equivalent to a 250Ah lithium off-grid system. We used it mainly for cooking, tea and coffee, hair dryers and charging devices, and it comfortably powered our four-day off-grid adventure before moving on to out next destination in a caravan park.
Our existing caravan 240Ah lithium 12V system continued to play its important role in powering lighting, the TV and the refrigerator, and worked well in complementing the Bluetti portable power system that fulfilled our 240V needs.
Between the Bluetti DC-DC charger in the car and the 200W of portable solar, we never ran out of power, enjoying all of the modern appliances needed for a good road trip. One thing worth remembering is that battery capacity means very little if you can’ t replace the energy you use.
