One of the final stages of production, before the van is taken outside for water testing, is a 60- point quality control process. Hilltop employs a couple of staff specifically to carry out this process. This, of course, takes place after the‘ finishing stage’ where things like external reflectors and internal light fixtures are added.
WHAT TOMORROW BRINGS
What comes next for Hilltop? For now, it is business as usual as they bed in their new processes. Dam and Dula, however, are already marvelling over the efficiencies allowed for by their new factory.
By“ business as usual”, what I really mean is that Dam and Dula want to continue focussing on the quality of their vans and their above-and-beyond customer service. Those two things, they believe, are the foundation of their success. I would be willing to bet that if you ask any Hilltop customer, they would agree they received quality and service in spades.
The thing is, when you buy a Hilltop, you’ re also buying into a big, extended family. And based on everything I have seen over a number of years, Dam and Dula truly care about their family.
