TRAVELS WITH KINGDEANO ADVENTURES
One thing we would highly recommend is filming your handover, if you ' re able to. We learned so much during the day, from how to operate the heating and cooling systems to understanding the electrics and all the other features packed into the van. Having it recorded meant we could go back and watch it again whenever we needed a refresher. Luckily though, the Emu RV website does provide tutorials on how to use aspects of the van.
Gary, who took us through everything, was incredibly patient and happy to spend as much time with us as we needed. By the end of the day, we felt far more confident about using our new van.
We had booked a nearby caravan park for the night. This gave us the perfect opportunity to relax, get some sleep and, more importantly, put everything we ' d learned into practice. If we found anything we weren ' t sure about, Emu RV was close enough for us to return the following day.
Thankfully, after a good night ' s sleep, we were completely happy with everything. We packed up, said goodbye to Penrith and began the journey home to Melbourne, our new van leading the way.
Suddenly, it felt even more real. We were now one step closer to living our dream of full-time vanlife. All that was left was the exciting question: where would we take our new home on wheels for its very first adventure?
