ALISON’ S FIRST FAREWELL TOUR
The view that welcomes you to Robe Holiday Park.
We went to two others, the Willunga Quarry Market and the Willunga Artisans and Handmade Market. They were both very different in size and content. The one thing we got at the Artisans was lunch from the Greek Market Stall. Delicious!
On our way back to the van, we called into a winery because the sign outside said you could get wine for $ 5 per litre! Well, that was if you had your own bottles. We didn’ t so we got their 5L casks. Lovely wine, lovely price and we’ ll be back at Tinlins Winery when we can.
There was a vintage and classic car show in McLaren Vale. It takes over Main Road from 11am until it finishes. Peter reckoned there were around 270 to 300 cars in the drive by. But, there were probably another 150 to 200 cars that would fit into the drive parked along the road. It was an amazing event – well worth seeing.
Waterfront Holiday Park in Tailem Bend offers amazing views of the setting sun.
