ALISON’ S SECOND FAREWELL TOUR
We were sorry to leave the Scout Park but were more than happy to be going to BIG4 Airlie Beach Adventure Whitsunday. We had been there before, and every time there’ s something new. New play areas for the kids, two jumping pillows with separate ages allowed on them, waterslides, cabins that sleep eight, and an animal farm. The list goes on. The staff are really friendly and helpful and, at check-in, they give you a week’ s info sheet on daily events and happenings in the park.
There was one new thing that we decided to try and are so glad that we did. There’ s a café on-site that’ s open at set times on set days. Well, we had a ginger beer and the best hamburgers ever. I’ m not a hamburger lover, but mine was chicken schnitzel, bacon, lettuce and cheese. Another amazing place to stay, and a delicious way to say‘ goodbye’ as we were moving on the next day.
