Ten years of GoRV! As I noted elsewhere in this issue, I could not have looked you in the eye and told you that we’ d be here a decade after we formed this venture, and on behalf of the team, thank you for your support. Every time you read one of our articles or watch one of our videos, you’ re helping us to keep going.

In these 10 years, we’ ve seen plenty of changes to the industry and lifestyle, and we’ re witnessing major changes unfold right now. Motorhome sales are on the rise, and vans built overseas – especially China – have gained widespread acceptance, to the point that four of the five best-selling manufacturers build their vans there. I happen to know of some local manufacturers – who I won’ t name for now – that are investigating offshoring production in an effort to remain competitive. If you can’ t beat them, join them.

Will GoRV still be here, 10 years from now? I sure hope so. It has been the privilege of a lifetime to share stories with you about Australia’ s RV industry and lifestyle. What will the landscape look like in 2036? I’ m not sure, but it’ s going to be an interesting ride …
