YouTube: If you can put up with a few ads every so often, YouTube is probably the best streaming service for caravanners. Not only can you find a video on fixing practically any issue you may encounter with your caravan, there is also plenty of regular content, like TV shows and even full-length movies. YouTube is also very economical with data, so it will work when many other streaming apps leave you with the blue circle of death.
Samsung TV Plus: If you have a Samsung TV or one of their smart devices, you have unlimited access to their free streaming service. It’ s packed full of popular content, including sports and movies, as well as channels dedicated to some of the best binge-worthy TV series ever. Don’ t have a Samsung TV? No worries, just cast directly to a Google TV from your Samsung device for a big-screen experience.
Google TV is the most common operation system on 12V TVs. It is very easy to use but it does need at least 8GM of RAM memory to function properly.
TCL Channel: This has to be one of the best-kept secrets in the world of streaming services. TCL Channel comes with any TCL-branded TV or any other brand of TV that TCL manufactures. It features thousands of titles, literally everything from movies to documentaries and lifestyle content. If you don’ t have a TCL TV, no worries. If your TV runs on Android, you can download the TCL Channel app for free. It will even work on an Amazon Fire Stick!
Free-to-air apps: All the free-toair TV channels have their own apps where you can watch live TV as well as on-demand content. Some are better than others, but most will have popular titles, including movies and popular shows. The SBS app is particularly surprising, given the variety of content it offers. All are worth downloading and checking out.
