Isuzu Ute Australia handed over its 300,000th new vehicle in Australia in October – not a bad way for the company to celebrate 15 years in our country .

Isuzu launched in Australia in 2008 by debuting its D-MAX ute , with the MU-X following in 2013 .

2023 was a record year locally for new vehicle sales . Isuzu has sold 24,677 D-MAXs and 11,824 MU-Xs this year alone . That ’ s 1178 more cars delivered to customers than the brand ’ s final tally of 2022 .

On the numbers alone , there ’ s no denying that Isuzu has made its mark in Australia . It took nine years for Isuzu to sell 100,000 vehicles here , which the company marked in April 2017 . But by February 2021 , five years later , it had sold another 100,000 cars . And now , less than three years later , it did another 100,000 .

“ As our brand has grown , so too has our dealer network , which has grown to over 165 sites across the country ; an expansive footprint that serves the 300,000 Isuzus on Australian roads ,” Isuzu Ute Australia managing director Junta Matsui said .
