TRAVELS WITH KINGDEANO ADVENTURES
Not too long ago , we wanted to do a quick trip to Adelaide , but at the same time we wanted to stay on the beach . We found our perfect site at Brighton Beachfront Holiday Park , in Adelaide , where we stayed a few nights .
This family and pet-friendly park had everything needed for an unforgettable holiday , with its beachside location and being so close to the action of the CBD . Luckily for us , we were allocated one of the best spots , too , in front of the boardwalk right next to the beach ! From our spot , we enjoyed watching the sun rise and set each day .
Our first day trip in our campervan was to Bayside Glenelg . This area draws families to its long , sandy beach , as does the beach-house amusement centre , with waterslides , rides , and arcade games .
The local Holdfast Marina attracted the crowds with its laidback pubs , cafes , a beach-side Ferris wheel , and indie boutique stores . Everyone was enjoying the warm weather . Kids were jumping off the jetty , families were fishing off the pier , and many people , including us , were walking barefoot on the sand and wading in the water .
After returning to the holiday park , we walked the boardwalk to Seacliff , where we enjoyed dinner at Seacliff Beach Hotel . We had great seats overlooking the street and watched the sun go down while enjoying dinner and dessert . The hotel was pet-friendly , so we obviously had our cavoodle , Twyla , with us too . The iconic Seacliff Beach Hotel is known for its prominent location and has been operating since 1935 .
