For dinner that evening , our sisterin-law whipped up a beer batter for our fresh fish , and my brother cooked them over the barbie .
The next day , we enjoyed a wine tasting and an antipasto lunch at the pet-friendly Wyanga Park Winery . The winery offers free overnight camping for selfcontained RVs .
Upon returning to Prime Tourist Park after lunch , the holiday park workers put on a free live show for the guests , playing guitars and singing some tunes . Many park guests came out to mingle and enjoy the live free entertainment , clapping their hands and singing along . Guests enjoyed the music , with a drink in hand , having a few laughs with the owners .
We have returned to Lakes Entrance several times now to take in the sights and activities that we can participate in with Twyla . We ’ ve enjoyed visiting Footbridge Mini Golf , Lollyshop & Ice Cream Shack , which caters for any kind of weather . The owner is very comical and entertaining , and had us in stitches laughing at his jokes .
You will find an information centre as you come into town . The staff can advise you of dog-friendly beaches and businesses . And a tip : on your way out of Lakes Entrance , pull over at the lookouts to take in the breathtaking views of the town and coastline .
