BMPRO has launched a new DC charger with one of the longest warranty periods on the market .

Featuring solar and AUX inputs , this new 30A charger , known as DCBoostXT , is an upgraded version of the company ’ s MiniBoostPro DC-DC charger and boasts the high water-resistance rating of IPX7 .

The DCBoostXT is specifically designed to be a “ tough and rugged ” charger that can stand up to extreme desert conditions , snow and river crossings . All electronics are fully sealed and encapsulated .

Designed and manufactured in Australia , the DCBoostXT comes pre-loomed for a quick and easy install . It can be mounted wherever it ’ s convenient , including inside the engine bay or in cargo / canopy areas .

“ The ‘ rugged factor ’ and IPX rating mean the device can be installed under the bonnet , rather than needing to be inside the car like most chargers require in order to protect them from the elements ,” BMPRO ’ s David Bayliss said .

The DCBoostXT comes with a 10- year warranty , the longest on the market for a product of this type .

“ We ’ ve rigorously tested this product in the field and designed it to withstand extreme environments , including being fully submerged up to 1m depth for up to 30 minutes ,” Mr Bayliss said .
